Blessed be the beer. Enjoy this traditional, well-hopped craft beer, lovingly created with all English ingredients. Sourpuss – 4.5%

Our first kettle sour is a tart and refreshing treat, infused with a generous helping of sour cherry puree. This hazy pink beer will make you smack your lips before reaching for another sip. It delivers vinous aromas and a subtle fizz which inhibits any sweetness – instead you are treated to a grown-up cherry aid that finishes with a tang and a suggestion of oat cakes, to remind you this is very much a beer that is brewed with (old faithful) Maris Otter.

Available in Keg and Can.

His Majesty – 3.9%

This is a limited edition 3.9% golden beer, lovingly hand crafted with all British ingredients. Maris Otter malt gives this beer a traditional grounding, acting as a great platform to showcase our choice of hops. Jester and Olicana are a refreshing celebration of fruity decadence, and offer a slight edge of bitterness. The beer is crowned with a pillowy white – head making it the perfect pint to set the tone for our new monarch.

Collaborati-on – 4.1%

We’re thrilled to have teamed up with hop experts Charles Faram for our first ever collaboration brew. As part of their Hop Development Program together we have brewed this Red Ale, using trial hops that are not yet commercially produced.
Maris Otter, with three German malt varieties sitting comfortably in the background, deliver the lingering notes of biscuit, honey and whole grain toast. In addition, we’ve introduced hops CF161 and CF299, which offer notes of red currants, citrus peel, with a touch of clove to the foreground.
Smooth and balanced with body, this is a beer to surprise and delight.

Auld Ale – 5.5%

True to its origin, our traditional and dark Auld Ale (5.5%) glows deep ruby red, delivers a wonderful festive indulgence and is the perfect winter tipple for fireside drinking. The use of crystal 400 and cashmere hops, alongside roasted barley, build notes of cinder toffee and spicy nutmeg. Brewed with the English ale yeast ‘Nottingham’, this delicious rounded ale will remind you of boozy Christmas cake and roasted oranges.

BREWERY EXCLUSIVE WHAT3WORDS RANGE – ///HENCE.MUTE.LIZARDS

What is What3Words? And why ///Hence.Mute.Lizards? During lockdown March 2020 we lost our pub trade (80% of our business) and rapidly had to reach out to our local customer base with a safe drive-through and local delivery service. We featured in the Sun Newspaper as a brewery “brew thru” and were spotted by What3Words, a geolocation company, and chosen to represent them in a national awareness Campaign.

W3W have divided the entire globe into 3m squares, each with its own unique 3 words. Using these words and their friendly app, you can find anyone/thing anywhere. Very handy for hard to locate local delivery customers when the postcode and house name are all there is to go on! Our 3 words are ///Hence.Mute.Lizards and on National Beer Day 15 June 2020 we launched the first official UK What3Words beer. The ///Hence.Mute.Lizards range was born.
