Inclusivity
Our Brewery Is For Everyone
We offer a friendly welcome to everyone here at Langham Brewery. We aim to allow all people to feel both physically welcomed and psychologically included. We hope to be cooperative, collaborative, open, fair, curious and accountable. We’ve allocated a space for children to relax and have down time and we’re able to move items where necessary to provide for accessibility.
We will also do our very best to accommodate your dietary requirements where possible. Please take a look at the allergen information for our beers.
If you have any questions, or special requests/specific needs, please do contact our friendly, supportive team.
Please note that our brewery, taproom and loo are wheelchair friendly (accessible via a ramp from outdoors).
What to Expect – A Sensory Guide
• Sounds – breweries can be noisy. We have equipment and processes which can create a wide rang of sounds- bangs, gurgles, beeping machinery, ambient farming noise or even our brewers singing! If you would like ear plugs or ear defenders please let one of the team know, or you are welcome to bring your own. There are quieter areas of the brewery to escape to. Please talk to the team for support.
• Sight – we are lucky to be surrounded by beautiful green spaces and can see the rolling hills all around us. Within the brewery and taproom there is so much to look at, including a variety of different equipment pipes and apparatus for making and dispensing our beer.
Please meet our fabulous brewery team.
• Smells – brewing beer produces incredible smells;
please talk to the team who can guide you through what to expect and a sensory tour of the brewing process.
• Touch – There are many different textures and materials used in the brewery.
Please talk to the team about a safe guided tour of the brewery through touch.
