Chestnut Ale is the third beer in our What3Words ///Hence.Mute.Lizards series.
A beer for Malt lovers, combining brewing classic, Maris Otter with the moreish nuttiness and hobnob biscuit flavours of Chateau Biscuit to make the perfect Autumnal treat.
Chestnut Ale was brewed to continue our support for Chestnut Tree House (children’s hospice), with 30 pence from every pint sold (via the brewery) going directly to the charity. Every October, for the last 13 years, we have held a ‘Bonkers for Conkers’ championship at the brewery, usually raising £800+ for Chestnut Tree House, which provides incredible support to children with life threatening illnesses and their families.
