Langham: A Destination Brewery
Here at Langham Brewery and Tap, we want you to enjoy the beauty of our local countryside… so get outside and explore, you won’t regret it!
With help from partnering organisations, local businesses, conservation initiatives and some of our ‘Gulpers’, we have collated this information to help you discover some of the gems our wonderful area has to offer.
Whether walking, cycling or planning a weekend staycation, include the enjoyment of our beautiful countryside in your next visit to our dog friendly brewery, taproom and shop.
Before you head outdoors check out our top tips for enjoying the countryside.
Exploring Local routes
A selection of walks and cycle routes are listed below, and you can view the full list of our suggested local journeys via PlotARoute. Our suggested walks are of differing lengths and varying difficulty, so please take a look before heading out. The stroll from Benbow is an excellent place to start, for example.
We’d love to share any further routes, so please keep in touch with any additions you may have. Fab tools to help with this are OS Maps and Strava.
Guided Tours
We have partnered with local guides for exclusive experiences which start and end at our brewery Taproom. These take place throughout the summer months. Visit our Event Calendar for upcoming events and details of how to book.
Pedal And Pace
Emily is a British Cycling Level 2 Mountain Bike leader; British Cycling Level 2 Cycle Coach; Athletics Coach in Running fitness and a British Athletics Run Leader. She hosts guided cross-country running events and cycle routes from the brewery.
Rural Strides
During the summer months, Malinka leads group walks from the Brewery on Brewery Tour days. The walks last 2-3 hours, so you’re able to explore the local area and be back in time for a Faretti pizza before your tour. Bespoke walks are also available.
Off Root
Jackie is a Cycling Level 2 MTB leader, a mountain biking coach and a British Cycling Night Leader. Jackie’s passion is to help people get into mountain biking and champion the wonderful feeling you get from riding in beautiful places with fab people.
FOTSD
Friends Of The South Dwns (FotSD) organise over 200 guided walks; some of them starting from, and returning to, the brewery. If you are a keen walker, why not consider joining FotSD to take advantage of their extensive walking programme?
