Mid-Winter Festival
Thank you so much for a fantastic Mid-Winter Festival ❤️
Our mid-winter festival took place on Saturday, 3rd December here at the brewery and was a lovely success!
It was a wonderful afternoon – big thanks go to everyone who made the event possible – Prize Old Mummers and their extremely entertaining, traditional mummers play; The Mary Rose and Royal George Dancers with their unique and fabulous Morris dance style; Spinnaker Shanty Singers and the Plastic Shamrocks, whose familiar Irish/English folky songs and tunes went down a treat.
And thanks to our friends at Simply Hog Roasts for providing delicious and warming sustenance (much needed, it was a chilly day!).
Thanks also go to our Master of Ceremonies, Martyn Constable, as well as to Horace Kipper for the use of his fabulous photos.
And of course, huge thanks to all you wonderful people who came along to enjoy the afternoon.
A tidy sum was made for our chosen charity – Naomi House Children’s Hospice – we’ll post an update once the final count-up has taken place.
We look forward to welcoming you to more forthcoming events here at the brewery – our Winter Walk (December) is now sold out, but in the new year we’ll be hosting comedy, live music, family and charity events, as well as our brewery tours… and more.
Please keep an eye on our calendar page for further details.
