All welcome at our charity event here at the brewery on 20th April.
Live music from The Ed Goodale Band (new CD launch) + The Mantic Muddlers + the Megan Linford Band + Tim Kent.
Combining a rich influence of sonic stylings and serving up their stories on a foundation of infectious grooves and raucous melodies, The Mantic Muddlers have a soundscape that pays tribute to the rich history of roots music, whilst pushing forward into new territory. Songs that walk a tightrope between fiction & reality are put forth on such instruments as the searing violin, thunderous double bass and resonator guitar, and then enriched with a coating of heartfelt vocal harmonies. For lack of a legitimate genre, you’ll be hearing roots, rattle & roll!
21 Year old, Hampshire based, Folk artist Megan Linford, has a unique sound influenced by the folk singers Joan Baez, Fairport Convention and Laura Marling.
Tim Kent is a troubadour who collects songs from near and far. He is a ‘folkie’ at heart and loves anything
contemporary. He plays guitar and keyboards.
Fabulous food from Olly’s Fish Shack, plus plenty of award winning ales.
This is a free event, but please give generously for our chosen charity, Rhythmix. Rhythmix seeks out places where music isn’t happening and offers high quality music to those at the margins of society.
