Bonkers For Conkers 2025. Are We Bonkers? Yes… For Conkers!
We are reaching out to all serious sports men, women, families, children (and their dogs) to be part of our annual daredevil contest of skill and danger: Bonkers For Conkers.
Join the event at the beautiful ‘brewery in a barn’ on the Cowdray Estate, on Sunday 12th October 2025 from Midday.
NEW FOR 2025 – MINI BEER FESTIVAL IN THE BREWERY,
Sample some of our brews from the last year and enjoy 2 extra special guest beers on draught!
More parking can be found at St Peter’s Church in Lodsworth – a short walk from the brewery.
There will be 2 competitions to find the junior (8 to 15 years) and senior conker champions of 2025.
World championship rules apply… and all conkers are provided by the organisers. This is serious (& very fun) stuff!
There will also be (of course!) an excellent bar with our award winning ales and traditional local fare available from the , live entertainment from Morris Dancers, as well as fabulous musicians, family games, fabulous stalls, plus gifts, a raffle (with HUGE prizes!), face painting, steam engine rides and more.
It’s free to come along to the event (£5 to play), but please give generously, as we’ll be collecting for Chestnut Tree House Hospice Care Sussex. There will be a chance to find out about the amazing work at the hospice from the Community Fundraisers.
