We are working to reduce our environmental footprint and are lucky to have a wonderful source of water nearby. We also work with some fabulous companies who share our ethos.

Water – Beer is 90% water. We are so lucky that our water source is an aquifer through green
sand at the entrance to the brewery. Our water is consistent and pure needing little
burtonisation. Our steam-heated brewing process recirculates and recycles the water to
other brewing uses to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.

Malt – Our spent malt and hops are collected by a friendly local farmer to feed his cattle.
Please do contact us to purchase some of Rob’s well Rotted Manure.

Hops and Yeast – We have worked with Charles Faram, England’s oldest hop supplier, for 15
years. We are pleased that they have a strong transparent environmental policy which they
are always looking to improve and develop.

We need your Laptops & Chromebooks please…

Our brewery is now a drop-off collection point to help with home learning.

You may have seen (and heard) news items about the need for laptops for school children, to enable them to access their home learning during the pandemic.

We have teamed up with the Rotary Club of Haslemere to help deliver laptops to those who are without.

‘Due to a world shortage of equipment and disrupted supply chains, and despite the best efforts of schools and education authorities, many of our local children are still unable to access virtual schooling.

In these very difficult times it is often hard to know how, we as individuals, can make a difference. Our young people will be affected by the impact of this pandemic for decades and we believe that by giving them the best possible educational opportunities, is one way of helping them to help themselves.’

All old data will be removed professionally and destroyed.

Please donate:
Spare Chromebooks.
Laptops with an operating system of Windows 7 and above.
Please include appropriate charging items.
No tablets or ipads.
Please include your name, address and contact number.

Please wipe the items and place inside a plastic carrier bag, then drop them off to us.

The rotary are hoping to obtain as many laptops/chrome books as possible. They need at least 70 for 2 secondary schools in our area. Even better would be 100+ please, so they can also provide them for several local primary schools, too.

We offer FREE delivery* and chiefly deliver to a radius of 30-ish miles of our brewery here in Lodsworth, including Worthing, Shoreham-By-Sea, Chichester, Portsmouth, Brighton and north to areas around Guildford and Farnham.

We’re sharing where our brewery van is heading each day, so we can ensure you have your order in time for your weekend, your curry night, birthday drinks, date night, for gift giving, personal consumption etc etc.

As a general rule of thumb, here’s where we set off to each week:

• Tuesday and Wednesday – Brighton, Shoreham-By-Sea, Worthing and Chichester
• Thursday – Petersfield, Portsmouth and Southampton
• Friday – Horsham, Godalming, Guildford and the surrounding areas.

Please order anytime up to the day before the van sets off to your area and we’ll ensure your order is ready for your delivery day.

Please continue to order online and for any last minute orders, please do call us by 5.30pm on the day prior to your day of delivery.

So, if you live in Hove (actually), please get in touch on a Monday at the latest.

We also deliver beyond these areas using a courier service.
