Meet the team
Charlie
Our Head Brewer and Owner since June 2025.
Before taking the reins at Langham, Charlie spent the last 10 years honing his craft in both classic and modern beer styles at Wimbledon Brewery and the iconic Fuller’s Brewery.
His go‑to beer: Augustiner Lager — and his Langham number one has to be the Eclipse Porter.
Outside of the brewery, Charlie is probably the most active member of the team; running, cycling, and, when time allows, heading to the mountains. As for his favourite part of the South Downs, Charlie has well and truly fallen in love with the rolling hills surrounding us, along with the sheer quantity and quality of pubs in this stunning part of the UK
Fran
Our Brewer of 5 years at Langham.
Fran could practically brew in his sleep as he has been in the trade for many, many years. Famously, he brewed for Ballards (sadly no longer open) and even went to Serbia to set up a brewing house there.
His all time favourite beer is 4.1% Bitter ale 6X from Wadworth’s as this was the very first ale he tried – his favourite Langham beer however, has to be Session IPA at 3.9%.
Outside of the brewery, Fran loves motorcycle racing of all kinds as he used to be a biker himself (sporting amazing handlebars back in the day). Finally, his favourite place in the South Downs is the Furnace Pond in Fernhurst, a very meaningful place filled with memories
Bob
Bob is our Retail & Events Manager here at Langham Brewery.
Bob started his working life working for large Pub co’s and is most at home when 4 deep at the bar. After a short foray into finance Bob join the team nearly two years ago and looks after all the events both on and offsite.
His all-time favourite beer is Floris Passion Fruit, a 3.6% wheat beer from Huyghe brewery in Belgium. As for the Langham beers, his favourite has to be the 3.9% draught Saison.
He truly enjoy the dark skies environment for stargazing, around the brewery something truly special when camping in the South Downs. He is also a lover of motorbikes and the proud owner of a Maeving which he commutes to work with.
Martyn
Martyn is part of our Sales Team here at Langham Brewery.
Across his career, Martyn has worked for several small breweries, wholesalers and wine companies and even had his own pub, The Horse and Groom in Henley (sadly no longer here). He has been in the trade for 46 years and still going strong!
His all-time favourite beer is Hercule Stout from Brasserie des Legendes; as for the Langham beers, his favourite has to be the XXX.
Keri.
Our Sales & Marketing Strategist since November 2025.
Keri moved to the UK from Brittany, France in 2014 and has been working in many different avenues. Film sets, TV development teams and publishing scout but also restaurants and coffee shops as well as the best blueberry farm in Dorset @brothersfarm.
The beer she’ll drink till the end is the Duchesse Anne from Lancelot brasserie and her favourite Langham one has to be the APA.
Outside of the brewery, Keri likes long walks with her husband and her little cocker spaniel Ernest in her county of adoption, West Sussex. Being French, cooking is a great part of her life and she is determined to find the best the South Downs has to offer, from traditional recipes to freshest produce.
